Robert Dugan, Jr. promoted to Chief of Police

On December 1, 2015 Robert Dugan, Jr. was sworn in as Chief of Police of the Medford Lakes Police Department. Chief Dugan's father, Robert Dugan Sr. sparked his interest in law enforcement as he served in the Navy before embarking on a 31-year career with the Evesham Police Department. Chief Dugan began his career with the Evesham Police Department in 1997 after graduating from the Burlington County Police Academy. In 2002, Chief Dugan joined the Medford Lakes Police Department. He was promoted to Corporal in 2006 and Sergeant in 2008. The swearing ceremony was held at Oaks Hall before Borough Council, family, friends, and fellow officers from surrounding communities.
