Press Release: Medford Lakes Police Department Body Worn Cameras

The Medford Lakes Police Department is pleased to announce the implementation of body worn cameras. All uniformed Medford Lakes Police Officers will be utilizing Panasonic Arbitrator Body Worn Cameras effective Monday March 2, 2020.

The Medford Lakes Police Department’s use of body worn video camera technology will be valuable to accurately document events, actions, conditions and statements made during investigative stops, field interviews, arrests and critical incidents. The use of the body worn cameras will follow the guidelines issued by the New Jersey Attorney General and the Burlington County Prosecutor’s Office along with the policies set by the Medford Lakes Police Department. Body Worn Cameras provide clear and unbiased recorded accounts that protect both citizens, as well as the officers.
