Drug/Distribution Arrest

On February 17, 2017 the Medford Lakes Police Department conducted a motor vehicle stop after observing a traffic offense on Natchez Trail. During the course of the stop, the driver Justin M. Ciervo, 41, of Medford Lakes was found to be in possession of Oxycontin and Oxycodone pills which were voluntarily turned over to police. Ciervo was taken into custody and transported to police headquarters. Further investigation revealed Ciervo had conducted a drug transaction just prior to being stopped by police. Ciervo was charged with Distribution of CDS, Possession of CDS w/in 1,000 feet of a school zone, two counts of Possession of Controlled Dangers Substance (CDS), two counts of Possession of Prescription Legend Drugs, and two counts of Possession of Prescription Drugs (Not in prescribed bottle). Ciervo was processed and released on a summons per New Jersey Bail Reform.
