On June 17, 2013 The Medford Lakes Police Department hosted the 2013 Drug Abuse Resistance Education (DARE) Graduation/Party at Beach 1.  DARE Officer John McGinnis hosted the graduation/party with the assistance of Chief Steve Carbone and SLEO I Officer Tamie Hartman.  All food and water for the graduation was generously donated by Murphy's Market.  All graduating 5th Grade Neeta Students were given a DARE Graduation T-shirt, DARE sunglasses, DARE gym bags, and other various DARE gear.

During one of the last lessons, the students were asked to complete a DARE essay on everything they have learned and the impact DARE has had on their lives.  Our top 3 DARE essay winners received a DARE book-bag filled with DARE gear, and a VISA gift card.

Congratulations to our 2013 DARE Essay Winners:
1st place: MeganRae Burke
2nd place: Tenley Paga
3rd Place: Ashlee Pringle

Thank you Murphy's Market for your generous donation and support!

We would also like to thank the Medford Lakes Lions Club for their recent $500.00 dollar donation to the Medford Lakes D.A.R.E. Program.  Your on-going support of the D.A.R.E. program helps fund the program to ensure our students remain drug free!  Thank you!
