The Medford Lakes Police Officers Association (MLPOA) hosted a charity basketball game at Neeta School on April 28, 2012 to benefit the Emma Pyne Trust.

The MLPOA played the Medford Lakes Fire Department and held a live auction of donated items, raising over $4,000 dollars for the Emma Pyne Trust. Emma Pyne is a 12-year-old Medford Lakes resident who suffers from Rett’s syndrome, a disorder of the nervous system that leads to developmental reversals, especially with expressive language and hands. Emma recently lost her mother after a battle with cancer, and her family is under a financial strain as Emma needs full-time care.
