Drug arrest - July 9, 2017

On July 9, 2017 at 11:47 A.M., patrols from the Medford Lakes Police Department conducted a motor vehicle stop of a silver Honda on Lenape Trail for a non-moving traffic violation. The driver, identified as Evan P. Vernon, 33, of Hallandale, FL., was found to be in possession of marijuana and CDS paraphernalia. Vernon was taken into custody and transported to police headquarters. Vernon was charged with possession of a controlled dangerous substance (CDS), possession of CDS paraphernalia and various traffic offenses. Vernon was processed and released on a summons pending a court date in Medford Lakes Municipal Court.
