Press Release - Receiving Stolen Property Arrest

    On July 13, 2016 a resident from the 100 block of Tabernacle Road reported her residence was burglarized.  The burglary occurred sometime between 9:00 A.M. – 10:45 A.M. and entry was made through an unsecured door.  The victim reported approximately $9,830.00 dollars worth of jewelry was stolen from the residence. 

     On December 28, 2016 a resident from the 100 block of Iroquois Trail reported her residence was burglarized.  The burglary occurred sometime between 1:30 P.M. – 7:15 P.M. and entry was made through an unsecured door.  The victim reported approximately $1,829.00 dollars worth of jewelry and a diaper bag was stolen from the residence. 

           After a thorough and on-going investigation, the Medford Lakes Police Department located pawn transaction slips which matched the description of the jewelry reported by the victims.  The victim’s identified the jewelry on the pawn transactions as their stolen property.  The suspect was identified as Ted E. Cook 2nd of Trenton, NJ.  Cook was charged with Receiving Stolen Property for each case.  Cook was lodged at Burlington County Jail under the New Jersey Criminal Justice Reform.
