November 12, 2013: The Medford Lakes Police Department is proud to announce the re-launch of our Nixle account.  Nixle is a communication system that connects residents with the agencies that serve and protect them.  Residents can use Nixle to receive information ranging from critical alerts to community news.  Additionally, residents can choose how they receive this information – by SMS (text message), email, over the Web or by mobile application.

Residents wishing to sign up for Medford Lakes Police Department Nixle alerts can do so by visiting www.medfordlakespolice.org and clicking on the “Nixle Icon” on the left side of the webpage.  In addition, our new police website has contact phone numbers, detailed information regarding community programs, recent announcements, historical photographs, and general information to better serve the community.

The Medford Lakes Police Department is now accepting applications for school crossing guards.  Part-time/substitute positions are now available with the possibility of permanent positions opening in the near future.  Applications can be downloaded at www.medfordlakespolice.org/resource-library and turned into police headquarters at any time.  For further information contact Tamie Hartman – Administrative Secretary at 609-654-2156 or thartman@medfordlakespolice.org.
