On February 20, 2015 the Medford Lakes Police Department received an Advanced Training Award from the 200 Club of Burlington County. The award, a $1,000.00 dollar check will be utilized to purchase an Automated External Defibrillator (AED) for the borough police department. An AED is a portable electronic device that automatically diagnoses the life-threatening cardiac arrhythmia of ventricular fibrillation and ventricular tachycardia in a patient, and is able to treat them through defibrillation, the application of electrical therapy which stops the arrhythmia, allowing the heart to reestablish an effective rhythm. The Medford Lakes Police Department would like to thank the 200 Club and President Jack Smith for this generous award and support of the Medford Lakes Police Department and the residents of the Borough.

Medford Lakes Police Corporal Jon Cherby accepts a $1,000.00 Advanced Training Award given to the Medford Lakes Police Department at the 25th Anniversary 200 Club of Burlington County Annual Awards Dinner.
