Too Good For Drugs

On June 8, 2015 Sgt. McGinnis hosted the 2015 Too Good For Drugs (formally D.A.R.E.) graduation for Neeta School's 5th grade. Sgt.McGinnis taught 10 lessons to each 5th grade class at Neeta School which helped the students learn important life skills that will help them stay happy, healthy, and confident. The skills learned included setting and reaching goals; making good decisions; managing emotions; communicating effectively; and building healthy friendships. The students learned about the negative effects of alcohol, tobacco, marijuana.

Murphy's Market graciously donated food and beverages for the graduation/party and assisted with the event. All students were given a graduation certificate, t-shirt, gym bag, sunglasses, and other giveaways.
